PSP PRINT MARKETING CHANNELS
Garrison Life Magazine
Garrison Life Magazine is distributed to military Units and households in Kingston, reaching around 5,000 Kingston military community members every year. The magazine is distributed three times a year; the timelines for Garrison Life Magazine can be found on Basecamp under PSP Kingston > Garrison Life Magazine.
For submission purposes, all content for the magazine is to be sent as a Word document with separate image files to [email protected]. Below is further information regarding how to request artwork for the magazine.
A. There are two proofs with tight deadlines: Proof 1 will include French and English text, while Proof 2 will include all of the final corrections. A PDF will be provided to double check for mistakes and to make the final corrections. Proof 3 will be the FINAL proof.
B. Content must be submitted to [email protected]:
D. Notify Erica Lambert as soon as possible if the page numbers need to be increased. Since PSP has a designated amount of pages, it is important to make changes immediately as changes like this can affect other sections of the magazine.
IMPORTANT: All sections must submit one (1) content submission (Word doc) for its entire section including subsections; all requests should be clearly outlined and in the appropriate order of appearance.
Posters
The generic poster size dimensions are 8.5 inches height by 11 inches width with a resolution of 72 pixels per inch. Poster formats can vary; please specify during submission and whether crop marks should be included as well (for external printing).
Considerations: Is the creation in poster format necessary or can a screen be used? The primary suggestion is to apply the EN and FR screens to an 8.5 x 11 document. This ensures that customers receive information in both official languages while reducing the amount of printing and paper required.
Despite this, if a poster is needed, the poster format will follow the suggested screen format:
